
DANIEL GRASSKAMP
An award-winning editor and director with over 15 years’ experience and a love for storytelling across TV commercials, trailers, campaigns, documentaries and scripted films.
Recent projects include directing and editing a TV commercial for KardiaMobile (AliveCor) and editing the viral campaign
The Sheba Gravy Race (Mars Pet Care), which was shortlisted for the British Arrows and won three Cannes Lions.
Further editing work includes the Sheba Hope Grows campaign starring Auliʻi Cravalho, the trailers for the feature documentary Reef Builders (now streaming on Prime Video), and the ad-break takeover Behind Closed Doors for the Alzheimer’s Society, which aired on Channel 4 and featured Anne-Marie Duff.
I’ve worked with agencies including AMV BBDO and Be The Fox, and directed commercials for Lidl, Costain, and UK Power Networks.
My debut feature film Cat Skin, which I wrote, directed and edited, is a coming-of-age drama that screened at festivals worldwide, won the Jury Award at the Chicago LGBTQ+ International Film Festival, and has been viewed over 12 million times online.
Alongside editing and directing, I’ve worked as a colourist on projects for Decathlon, the BFI-funded feature documentary Maisie, and trailers for the Channel 4 documentary Anna Richardson: Love, Loss and Dementia.
